Zantrex-3 Uses

Some people who are trying to lose weight may consider using diet pills, such as Zantrex-3. The Zantrex-3 Web site claims that this weight loss pill works by slowing down how often food is emptied from the stomach (which helps people feel fuller sooner and longer), and the caffeine helps to increase energy. However, Zantrex-3 has not been shown to be safe or effective for weight loss. Zantrex-3 uses in children may not be safe.

 

What Is Zantrex-3 Used For?

Zantrex®-3 is a popular weight loss supplement that relies heavily on caffeine for its effects (although Zantrex-3 contains several other active ingredients as well). The manufacturer of Zantrex-3 claims that this product can provide "more weight loss," "faster weight loss," and "energy to burn."
 
With obesity currently on the rise (see Obesity Statistics), "quick fixes" to help with weight loss are becoming more popular than ever. Although the ideal weight loss plans focus on gradual weight loss by eating a healthy diet and increasing physical activity (see How to Lose Weight), many people have difficulty following such plans (or feel they need extra assistance in their efforts). Before turning to drastic measures, such as weight loss surgery, many people consider using weight loss pills, especially if they have unsuccessfully tried to control their obesity (and exercise and diet have been ineffective).
 
It is important to understand that Zantrex-3 is not an FDA-approved product, and it has not been shown to be either safe or effective (see Is Zantrex-3 Safe? and Does Zantrex-3 Work? for more information).
