Does Zantrex-3 Cause Side Effects?
Little is known about the possible side effects of Zantrex
®-3, a weight loss supplement. Although adequate
Zantrex-3 studies have not been conducted and published, Zantrex-3 does contain caffeine and is, therefore, likely to cause stimulant side effects. Other side effects (due to the other active ingredients in Zantrex-3) are also possible.

Possible Side Effects of Zantrex-3
Because Zantrex-3 has not been adequately studied in clinical trials, much of the information available on possible side effects comes from what is known about caffeine (which is in several of the ingredients in Zantrex-3). Based on this information, common Zantrex-3 side effects may include:
- Insomnia
- Nervousness
- Restlessness
- Indigestion or heartburn
- Shakiness (tremors) or jitteriness
- Increased urination.
Because Zantrex-3 contains niacin, it can cause flushing of the skin. Other active ingredients in Zantrex-3 may cause the following side effects:
- Nausea and vomiting
- Sensitivity to the sun
- Diarrhea
- Worsening of eczema
- Discoloration of the teeth
- Breast pain
- A spinning sensation (vertigo).
