Xenecal

Were you looking for information on
Xenical? Xenecal is a common misspelling of Xenical.

Xenical® is typically prescribed to either help a person lose weight or keep weight gain from returning. By inhibiting the action of enzymes that break down fat, the drug causes the body to absorb less of it. Xenical comes in capsule form and is taken with each fat-containing meal (up to three times daily). Side effects can include gas, stomach pain, and an urgent need to have a bowel movement.

(Click Xenical for more information, including additional side effects and how to avoid them, when and how to take the drug, and things to discuss with your healthcare provider prior to beginning treatment.)
