Suprenza Medication Information

When used in combination with a low-calorie diet, exercise, and behavior modifications, SuprenzaTM (orally disintegrating phentermine) may help people lose weight. This prescription weight loss drug is approved for use in obese people only and should be used once daily, preferably in the morning. It comes as a tablet that dissolves on the tongue.
 
Do not use this medicine in higher-than-recommended amounts or for more than a few weeks, as it is a type of stimulant. Physical dependence and addiction are possible consequences of extended use.
 
To help reduce the risk of complications with Suprenza, make sure your healthcare provider has a current list of any other medications you are taking (including other weight loss products), as well as up-to-date information on your medical history. Also, let your healthcare provider know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
