How to Lose Baby Weight Like a Celebrity
Let's start with Beyoncé, who reportedly put on 60 pounds during her pregnancy with Blue Ivy. However, just a few months later, that weight seemed to magically disappear. How is that possible? Apparently, she had a live-in trainer who helped her through two-hour cardio workouts twice a day. Yes, you counted right -- that's four hours of workout sessions each day. And what about her diet? Reportedly, her daily intake included protein shakes, veggies, egg whites, and pineapple chunks.
Jessica Simpson is another one who was in the spotlight with her post-baby weight loss, especially with the added stress of a countdown to her big reveal after signing a deal with Weight Watchers to help her lose the baby weight. While the Weight Watchers program may have helped her to steadily lose some baby weight, she also had a personal trainer who had her do a daily, five-phase workout, which included a cardio warm-up, upper-body strength training, lower-body strength training, core training, and a cardio cool-down. Jessica also reportedly used a pedometer to track her steps to make her goal of 14,000 steps a day.
The Kardashian sisters, Kim and Kourtney, are a couple of other moms who seemed to be back to their pre-baby bodies in no time. In media reports, Kim credited her 70-pound weight loss to the Atkins diet, which consists of cutting out carbohydrates and consuming mainly protein products.
Kourtney, on the other hand, lost 44 pounds just six months after giving birth to her daughter by using Tracey Anderson's 90-minute dance workouts. This particular dance program consists of high-intensity cardio routines. She also ate lots of raw veggies, fish, celery with hummus, and protein shakes.
Nearly five weeks after giving birth, Kate Middleton was able to melt off the baby weight she had put on. Sources say that she didn't necessarily do anything in particular to lose the weight, but that breastfeeding and yoga have helped her get back to her pre-baby body.
