Believe it or not, losing weight can actually be fun! For example:
Drink chocolate milk after a workout to provide your body with the carbohydrates and protein it needs to recover and build muscle.
Caffeinate yourself with coffee or tea. Caffeine can help to increase your endurance and make workouts feel easier. Just go easy on it, as too much caffeine can be dangerous for your heart. Also, limit the amount of sugar and sweeteners you use… remember, you're trying to reduce your calories!
Finally, and most importantly, pick types of exercise that you enjoy. If you absolutely hate running or yoga, stop doing it and find something else. Working hard to lose weight is one thing, but there's no point in doing exercises that make you miserable. Whether it's Zumba or dancing or gardening, choose a type of exercise that you love and stick with it.
