• Phentramine contains caffeine and other stimulants, which can make anxiety disorders worse. If you notice increased anxiety while taking it, you should avoid Phentramine products.
   
• The stimulants in Phentramine can make some heart conditions worse. If you have any heart problems, do not take this supplement without first talking to your healthcare provider.
   
• There is some evidence that caffeine can affect blood sugar. If you have diabetes, check with your healthcare provider before taking Phentramine.
   
• If you have glaucoma, do not take Phentramine without first talking to your healthcare provider. The stimulants in the supplement can make glaucoma worse.
   
• If you have high blood pressure, Phentramine may increase your blood pressure even more.
   
• The caffeine in Phentramine can increase calcium loss through your urine. This may be a problem for people who have osteoporosis. Check with your healthcare provider, as you may need extra calcium when taking the supplement.
   
• Ginseng (an active ingredient in Phentramine) can increase the risk of bleeding, which can be a problem if you have a bleeding disorder or if you take "blood thinners".
   
• If you have any health problems or concerns, check with your healthcare provider before taking Phentramine.
   
• Phentramine can interact with a number of medications (see Phentramine Drug Interactions).
