Phentermine Dangers

Phentermine is a prescription drug approved as a short-term weight-loss aid. Although most people tolerate this medication well, there are potential dangers associated with phentermine use. For example, a number of side effects have been reported with this weight loss medicine. In clinical studies, some of the most common problems that were reported with phentermine included:
 
Phentermine can also increase your heart and blood pressure, which could cause problems in people who already have high blood pressure or cardiovascular problems. Also, taking this medicine with fenfluramine ("phen/fen") has been shown to cause dangerous side effects, including problems with the heart valves and a lung problem known as primary pulmonary hypertension (PPH).
