Mahung

Ma huang (ephedra) was banned in the United States because of its dangerous and potentially life-threatening side effects. Although ma huang was a common weight loss pill (until it was banned), it may cause heart attacks, seizures, or strokes. There is no known dose of ma huang that is considered safe and effective.
