Weight Loss Home > CortiSlim Side Effects

Although CortiSlim has not been adequately studied in clinical trials, most of the CortiSlim products are known to contain stimulants. As a result, possible side effects of CortiSlim may be similar to those of stimulants and may include insomnia, indigestion, and shakiness. Notify a healthcare provider if you develop more serious CortiSlim side effects, such as seizures, difficulty breathing, or an irregular heart rhythm.

Does CortiSlim Cause Side Effects?

Little is known about the possible side effects of CortiSlim® products, a group of weight loss supplements. Although no adequate studies on CortiSlim have been conducted and published, most of these products contain stimulants and, therefore, are likely to cause side effects often seen with stimulants.

(This article covers many, but not all, of the possible side effects with CortiSlim. Your healthcare provider can discuss a more complete list of CortiSlim side effects with you.)

Possible Side Effects of CortiSlim

Because CortiSlim has not been adequately studied in clinical trials, all side effect information comes from what is known about stimulants. Based on this information, common CortiSlim side effects may include:

  • Insomnia
  • Nervousness
  • Restlessness
  • Indigestion or heartburn
  • Shakiness (tremors) or jitteriness
  • Increased urination.

CortiSlim Control™ is the only CortiSlim product that does not contain stimulants. The active ingredient in this product is glucomannan, a natural vegetable fiber. Because it contains fiber, CortiSlim Control is likely to cause the following side effects:

  • Abdominal pain (stomach pain) or cramping
  • Nausea
  • Bloating
  • Diarrhea.
