GABBA

Were you looking for information about
GABA? GABBA is a common misspelling of GABA.

Although GABA (short for gamma-aminobutyric acid) is an important neurotransmitter in the body, it is also available in the form of a dietary supplement. GABA supplements are claimed to have several uses, such as promoting weight loss and improving mood. However, there is little evidence to suggest that supplementation is effective for any use. Even though GABA is considered a "natural" product, it can cause side effects, such as an increase in heart rate and blood pressure. Also, before taking these supplements, talk to your healthcare provider about your medical history and any other medicines you are taking, including vitamins and herbal supplements.
