Cylaris Uses: An Overview
Cylaris™ is a non-prescription weight loss supplement. As a supplement, Cylaris is not regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and, therefore, may be marketed without being shown as either safe or effective.
With obesity on the rise
(see Obesity Statistics), many people are searching for "quick fixes" to help them rapidly and effortlessly lose weight. Although the
ideal weight loss plans focus on gradual weight loss by eating a healthy diet and increasing physical activity
(see How to Lose Weight), many people have difficulty following such plans or feel they need extra assistance in their efforts. Before turning to drastic measures, such as
weight loss surgery, many people consider using
weight loss pills, especially if they have unsuccessfully tried to control their
obesity and exercise and diet have been ineffective.
One small study suggests that Cylaris may be effective in helping people lose weight and
lowering cholesterol, although more research is necessary to confirm these results
(see Does Cylaris Work? for more information).
It is not known how Cylaris works for weight loss. Cylaris contains caffeine, which may have some effect on suppressing the appetite or perhaps increasing metabolism. It is not known how (or if) the other ingredients in Cylaris work to promote weight loss.
