CortiSlim Drug Interactions

Although little information is known about potential CortiSlim drug interactions, it is assumed that CortiSlim may interact with certain medicines. The medicines that may cause CortiSlim interactions include other stimulants, decongestants, MAOIs, and QT-prolonging medications. Some of these interactions may increase the risk of side effects and can lead to life-threatening reactions. To avoid these complications, be sure to talk to your healthcare provider about potential CortiSlim drug interactions that may apply to you.

 

An Introduction to CortiSlim Drug Interactions

Little information is known about CortiSlim® drug interactions. Based on the stimulants contained in most CortiSlim products, it is assumed that CortiSlim will interact with various medicines. Some of these medicines that may lead to CortiSlim interactions include:
 
  • Any other stimulants, including caffeine, cocaine, amphetamines, and many other weight-loss products
  • Decongestants, such as pseudoephedrine (Sudafed®)
  • Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), including:

 

 

  • QT-prolonging medications (medications that increase the risk of a dangerous irregular heart rhythm known as QT prolongation).
