Amphetamines or Amphetamine-Like Medications
Taking Belviq with amphetamines may increase your risk for a serious reaction called serotonin syndrome. Although this reaction is extremely rare, it can be quite dangerous. Talk to your healthcare provider before combining these medications.
Belviq may increase the level of atomoxetine in your blood, potentially increasing your risk for atomoxetine side effects. Taking these medicines together may also increase your risk for serotonin syndrome, a rare but dangerous side effect that may occur when you have abnormally high levels of serotonin in your body. Talk to your healthcare provider before taking these medicines together.
Taking Belviq with bupropion may increase your risk for a rare but serious reaction known as serotonin syndrome. Talk to your healthcare provider before taking these medicines together.
Taking Belviq with buspirone may increase your risk for a serious reaction called serotonin syndrome. Although this reaction is quite rare, it can be very dangerous. Talk to your healthcare provider before taking these medications together. Also, seek immediate medical care if you develop any symptoms of serotonin syndrome (see Belviq Warnings and Precautions).
Taking Belviq with cabergoline may increase your risk for developing heart valve problems. In general, these medications should not be used together.
