Adipex Diet Supplement

Adipex-P® (phentermine) is a prescription medication approved for use in combination with diet and exercise. It is only meant for short-term use (a few weeks), as the effects of this medication for weight loss decrease after the first few weeks.
As a prescription diet supplement, Adipex works by suppressing the appetite and may increase the metabolism. Some short studies have evaluated the effectiveness of the drug and have shown that people taking it lost more weight than those not taking it, but the difference was small (only a fraction of a pound more per week for the people taking the weight loss medication).
Although most people have no problems with it, Adipex is not suitable for everyone. Before starting treatment with this diet supplement, Adipex warnings and precautions should be fully reviewed with your healthcare provider. For example, tell your healthcare provider about any other medical conditions you may have and any other medications you are taking (including vitamins and nonprescription medicines).
